2005 (Outdoor): Fourth at the Central Michigan Invitational in shot put (53-3)...placed 10th in shot put at the Mesa Invitational (53-7 3/4)...finished fourth in shot put at the Sun Angel Classic (54-1 3/4)...11th at Big Ten Championships with a shot put of 52-10 1/4.

2005 (Indoor): Second in shot put at Notre Dame Invitational (53-1) and third in the weight throw (50-8)...third in shot put at the Jack Skoog Open (51-11 1/4)...12th at BigTen Indoor Championship in shot put (51-9 3/4). 2004 (Outdoor): Redshirted...during the summer of 2004, placed eighth at the U.S. Junior National Championships in the shot put (58-8), earning him Verizon Junior All-American recognition.
